The value for money at this hotel was exceptional. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with authentic Chinese furniture. The location couldn't have been better, right across the street from the west exit of the Forbidden City. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English.
One improvement that could be made is to provide more breakfast options.

If there is one thing that I liked about this hotel, it was the complementary hot chocolate and cookies offered in the lobby. It was perfect for the Christmas season! The location was also great, just a short walk away from the famous sights. The hotel staff was friendly too.
On the downside, the rooms were very small and quite noisy. You can hear everything that is happening outside and inside the hotel.

The location of this hotel could not be better - right next to a famous historical site and within walking distance of other popular attractions. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They even went out of their way to accommodate a special request for a birthday surprise, which made our stay even more memorable.
There were a few areas for improvement during our stay. The breakfast options were quite limited, especially if you needed an early breakfast.

We stayed at this charming, Hutong-style hotel for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The central courtyard area was delightful, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, with easy access to the metro and airport shuttle. The breakfast had a good variety, with both Chinese and English options. The beds, though Chinese style and firm, surprisingly provided us with three great nights of sleep. a unique and lovely hotel experience.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, as it was just under the wall of the Forbidden City and just a 10-minute walk to Tiananmen Square. There were lots of restaurants, shops, banks, and a market within walking distance, making it convenient for exploring this city. The hotel itself had a beautiful Chinese theme with traditional decor, making us feel like royalty. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, going out of their way to assist us. They used a mobile app for translation, which worked surprisingly well, as their English was limited.
Nothing, it is perfect.
